The Embassy of Grenada in Mexico City represents the Government and people of Grenada before the United Mexican States, with concurrent accreditation to Guatemala, Belize and Honduras. We protect the interests of Grenadians in the region and deepen South-South cooperation across Latin America.

Mexico City, Mexico — His Excellency Anthony G. Baptiste formally presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the United Mexican States at Palacio Nacional, officially assuming his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Grenada.
In his remarks, Ambassador Baptiste conveyed warm greetings from the Government and people of Grenada and reaffirmed the Embassy's commitment to deepening cooperation in education, tourism, agriculture and climate action across the region.
"It is a privilege to represent Grenada in this great nation. Our two peoples may be separated by distance, but we are united by warmth, colour and a love of celebration."
At a Glance
Mexico City, Mexico — The Embassy facilitated the signing of a new biennial technical cooperation programme under the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), bringing Mexican expertise to Grenada in priority development areas.
The programme covers sustainable tourism, climate-smart agriculture and disaster risk management, alongside a reciprocal scholarship scheme enabling Grenadian students and professionals to train in Mexico.
"South-South cooperation turns shared challenges into shared solutions. This is friendship in action," said Ambassador Baptiste at the signing.
Programme Pillars
Mexico City, Mexico — The Embassy of Grenada hosted a reception marking the 52nd anniversary of Grenada's independence, welcoming members of the diplomatic corps, Mexican officials and the Grenadian community of the region.
Guests enjoyed a fusion of Grenadian and Mexican culture — nutmeg-spiced refreshments, soca and calypso alongside mariachi, celebrating the Spice Isle in the heart of Mexico City.
"Wherever Grenadians gather, we bring a little of our island warmth. Tonight, Mexico City felt like home," remarked the Ambassador.
